TOUCHING THE EAGLES

PART THREE

NINE DAYS AT MT SHASTA

Day Twenty - August 20, 1986 - Day Two at Mt Shasta

Phillip and Matthew and the Mt Shasta Buttercups
Upon awakening I meditated for an hour and knew that I would be in a group of nine people that day and would br given a special gift. Mentally I was shown an image of a closed hand reaching out to give me a gift. I saw myself receiving a lovely crystal, one tht could be placed on a necklace and worn over the heart at the center of the chest.

At 8:33 I went back down to Mt Shasta City and visited with Michael and his family.

At 11:00 I decided to walk around town. As I was doing so the guides spoke to me again.

"You will learn something at 11:33." I was told.

I continued walking and at 11:33 I noticed two young boys playing in a yard. They were giving away flowers to people passing by on the sidewalk. As I approached them they offered me a small flower. I took the flower from the boys while asking them what it was called.

The older boy replied, "It is called a Mt Shasta buttercup."

The boys gave me their names as Phillip Lee and Matthew Eugene, ages six and three, respectively. I talked to the boys for some time before leaving with my yellow buttercup. I had received a gift from the small children who had extended their love of giving while expecting nothing in return. As I walked away I heard the voice of a guide in my head.

"Except ye become as a little child."

Guidance From Jan
I continued to walk along the main street and went into a bookstore where I purchased Ruth Montgomery's latest book, "Aliens Among Us".

"Talk to the lady", I was told.

Jan came to Mt Shasta from San Francisco with her husband eight years ago to manage the Northern Lights Bookstore. They have one child. I asked Jan to tell me of the interesting places around town.

"There are three places you have to go to", she replied. "These are three places of energy where people gather in town. These places are where you go to meet people". Jan suggested I visit Dorothy at the Golden Bough Bookstore, which was directly across the street; the Crystal Reflections Crystal Shop and Belissimo's Cafe.

"I'm Here Checking Out U.F.O.'s"
At 12:15 P.M. the guides informed me that I was to leave for the mountain at 12:27 and I was to pick up a hitchhiker at 12:33. I started up the mountain at 12:27 and at the scheduled time of 12:33 there he was beside the road with his thumb out.

He identified himself as James, age thirty-five and was originally from Texas. When I asked James what brought him to the mountain, he replied.

"I'm here checking out U.F.O.'s"

I thought it interesting that he would be so open with me in discussing U.F.O.'s without knowing anything about me. Later we located an excellent viewing site for viewing U.F.O.'s in a field higher up on the mountain. I was to spend considerable time with James later 'checking out U.F.O.'s.

The Rainbow Gathering
We stopped at James's tent where I met his dog Chico.

Then we decided to walk around the area. During the present full moon there was a special gathering of more than one hundred people, most of whom were staying on the mountain to celebrate this special event. The people who stayed on the mountain were known as the "Rainbow Community". They held group meditations and enjoyed the energy given off from group participation and enjoyed the energy of the mountain.

As I walked along a path near a stream I stopped to talk to one young girl who was about twenty years old. She introduced herself as Rhonda, a name which to her meant 'Light Wind'. I asked Rhonda why she came to the mountain and she replied.

"I came here for inner balancing. People com here seeking the spirit. The place to seek is within."

A young fellow with a handful of small crystals gave me one as a gift. He was from Arizona and had mined the crystals there himself.

A Meeting of Nine - Promise Fulfilled
After awhile James left with his dog to go back to his tent and I continued to walk around. Arriving at the upper parking lot I noticed a group of people in their twenties and early thirties gathered around their travel vehicle, a converted school bus. As I approached I noticed one of the fellows was wearing a beautiful crystal around his neck>

"What a lovely crystal you are wearing." I said to him. After speaking with him for a few minutes he realized my interests in crystals.

"Just a minute." he said as he got up and went into th bus. He came back and extended a closed fist toward me saying, "This is for you.".

I could see the pointed end of a crystal extending between his fingers as he held the crystal in his hand. I suddenly realized that his closed hand was the one I saw in my early morning meditation. He opened his hand and gave me a beautiful crystal which was four inches long and one-half inch wide. At the upper end of th crystal there was a blue lapis stone inserted and held in place by a small piece of leather bound by strands of copper wire.

Identifying himself as Jerry he placed the crystal in my hand while saying, "It is yours. Trade me something for it."

I found it interesting and appropriate that he wanted something in return for the gift. I told Jerry I would be back in a few minutes. I went to get my car and drove it to where Jerry and his friends were.

"What do you need?" I asked Jerry.

"Anything." he replied.

In exchange for the gift I gave Jerry a poncho that could be worn in wet weather and could be used as a ground sheet. I gave another fellow a sleeping bag in exchange for several beautiful stones and some soapstone.

I counted the people in the group and suddenly realized the fulfillment of the second part of my meditation. There were nine of us in the group. We joined in a group discussion and I felt very much at one with these new found friends. The group were from Santa Cruz and were travelling together in the tour bus which they called 'Tarkus' There were six males and two females. Besides Jerry there was Rufus, Dave, Michael, Charles and Puddin. The girls were Robin and Jenny. They were there to celebrate the Rainbow Gathering and to have a lot of fun.

Meet Gabriel, the Caveman
While visiting with th group a barefooted, balding, gray bearded man suddenly appeared before us. I wondered where he had come from.

"You have to meet Garriel": Jerry responded.

I went right to Gabriel and gave him an enbracing hug.

"I've been looking for you," I told him.

\\Looking me right in the eye, he responded, "Come with me."

Without hestitation we left the group and I followed Gabriel across the rocks and away from the parking lot toward Upper Panther Meadows. As I tagged along behind Gabriel I sensed that we were communicating at a deep inner level and that there was no need for words.

We were joined by Gabriel's dog Jordan who served him as a friendly and loyal friend.

Our first stop was at a stream where the water was springing up from the ground forming the beginning of a long stream.

"This is the headwaters. This is sacred waters." Gabriel told me. He went on. "Powerful healing energies are formed here at the headwaters. Take a drink."

He knelt down to take a drink from his cupped hand as he was talking. I did likewise and took three drinks from the dtream.

Next Gabriel took me over to visit his cave. It was a one room cave open at the front and formed naturally by the fallen rock formation from the mountain above. The inside of the cave was shaped like a pyramid and the huge piece of rock that covered the top was shaped in a saucer formation. Gabriel told me there was a highly evolved Indian spirit protecting the cave and the surrounding area.

Gabriel told me that the area near the top of the mountain was the heart chakra of the earth and the center of love energies. He talked of an energy line connecting with Santa Cruz which he described as "the vortex of the bio-rythum" and another powerful healing area.

Linda channels St Germaine

Michael and Janice attended a group gathering several evenings before at a private home where a lady named Linda channeled communication from the ascended Master St Germaine They were planning on attending another open session tonight so I decided to go along with them.

More than fifty people gathered in Linda'a living room as we were entertained with a most delightful and meaningful message from St Germaine. His message was about self-love in the 'New Age'.
