For many years receiving 'inner guidance' was considered by many to have originated from Eastern mysticism, having been practically ignored by Westerners. Only those Westerners who have been involved in metaphysical pursuits and like activities have openly accepted 'inner guidance' as a true reality.
Listening to the still small voice, the spirit within, is simple. It works. We simply have only to listen, to uncover our own inner voices.
All of us can learn how to identify and how to listen to our loving 'inner voice'. We can also learn how to by-pass our judgmental side. We can learn how to tap the source of the joy that is within us.
'Listening' and 'going within' does not require lengthy periods of contemplation or meditation. It can be experienced as we work, drive, walk, eat, or meditate. The 'inner voice' is always broadcasting.

The second theme of this book is the concept of people referred to as eagles who will be gathered in the last days.
Menno Pauls in his book "The Gathering of the Eagles" passed on messages to people that someday they would find themselves in perhaps a beautiful mountain valley setting and they, along with their families, would be safe.

was guided to contact by his guides.

We soar as eagles
On wings high above
With the Earth below us
The land that we love.
Softly and freely
We glide through the sky
O'er mountains and valleys
Higher and higher we fly.
Upward and onward
Through darkness of night
Breaking through a new barrier
Gaining new insight.
Spirits as one
In God's golden land
