CHRISTMAS WITH FAMILY

CHRISTMAS WITH FAMILY

Christmas with my family
I remember so well
Everything was so simple
And life was so swell.

It was cozy and neat
I loved to be there
All nestled together
With my family dear

We lived and had fun
And played all day long
And in the evenings
We sang Christmas songs.

Those were the days
With my family there
When life with my family
Was special and dear.

ME AND MY TEDDY BEAR

When I was just a little boy
When I was only three
I sat with my teddy bear
Under the Christmas tree.

Sitting there we could not be seen
By family who were near
As we sang Christmas carols
Me and my teddy bear.

I recall so well those days
When I was young and free
How I went with my brothers
To chop down our Christmas tree.

And the excitement of having teddy with me
To open gifts with my family dear
And together sing beneath the tree
Me and my teddy bear.

THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS

Twas Christmas Eve
The children were in bed
Comfortably clad
From their toes to their head.

Sheets were pulled tight
As the children slept
While near then at midnight
Santa crept.

The children slept soundly
As Christmas morning neared
While to them in a dream
Three angels appeared.

The angels hovered over the three
Showerings blessings from above
'May each child be free
To live in light and love.'

Merry Christmas!
