Please read ALL of these instructions before beginning. This is a model of Soopy as the "World War I Flying Ace" from "Peanuts." Scales are approximately 1/24 and 1/72. The model is intended to print at 7.5 inches by 10 inches (190.5mm x 254mm), so it should print correctly on US Letter or A4 size sheets of 90 lb (165 gram per square meter) index card by centering the image on the page, preserving the aspect ratio, and setting the image width to 7.5 inches (190.5 mm). The finished 1/24 scale model stands just under 3 inches (76mm) high. Assembly is very simple; there are only three parts. Scoring is done on all solid lines, but not on the decorative squiggly ones. 1/24 Scale version: -- House -- 1. Fold away from the printed side at all scored lines. Glue at all tabs. -- Roof -- 2. Cut the four short diagonal lines marked with red arrows. Fold away from the printed side at all scored lines. The very narrow tabs in the area with the red arrows are only to support the roof's shape; they are not to be glued, only folded 90 degrees. 3. Fit the roof assembly over the peak of the house. Glue only where the undersides of the roof meet the sides of the house. -- Pilot -- 4. Score on the solid line very carefully. Cut out as one piece well away from the figure's outline. Fold and glue the uncolored side together. Make sure you coat evenly with glue and avoid bubbles. Place the glued figure under a heavy book for a few minutes to press flat. Carefully cut the figure out. Apply glue to the bottom double edge of the figure and attach it to the peak of the roof, roughly in the middle and facing the end with the door. 1/72 Scale version: -- House -- 1. Fold away from the printed side at all scored lines. Glue at all tabs. -- Roof -- 2. Fold the notched parts away from the printed side at the scored lines and glue their back sides to the backs of the adjacent areas, doubling the halves of the roof. 3. Fit the roof assembly over the peak of the house and glue in place. Carefully cut the figure out, leaving bare stock to reinforce where needed. Apply glue to the bottom double edge of the figure and attach it to the peak of the roof, roughly in the middle and facing the end with the door.
