Please read ALL of these instructions before beginning.

	This is an approximately 1:36 scale model of a rocket from a "Far Side" cartoon (included with the model). The model is intended to be printed at 7.5 inches by 10 inches (190.5mm x 254mm), so it should print correctly on US Letter or A4 size sheets of 90 lb (165 gram per square meter) index card.

     The finished scale model is about 5.5 inches (140 mm) tall.

     Assembly is straightforward, and simpler than it may appear at first glance. There is very little scoring needed, and most of the joints are to be butt-glued. Use the cartoon as a guide for assembly.

	** NOTES: If you have printed onto thinner paper, glue parts 1, 3, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, and 13 to a layer of thicker card. All assemblies are made with the printed side out. **

1.	Cut out parts 1, 2, and 3. Roll part 2 into a shroud and glue together at the tab. Align the seam on part 2 with the black tick mark on part 1 and glue the edges together all around. Align the seam on part 2 with the black tick mark on part 3 and glue the edges together all around.

2.	Cut out parts 4, 5, and 6. Roll part 5 into a shroud and glue together at the tab. Align the seam on part 5 with the black tick mark on part 4 and glue the edges together all around. Align the seam on part 5 with the black tick mark on part 6 and glue the edges together all around.

3.	Align the seam on part 5 with the seam on part 2 and glue part 4 to part 3.

4.	Cut out parts 7, 8, and 9. Roll part 8 into a shroud and glue together at the tab. Align the seam on part 8 with the black tick mark on part 7 and glue the edges together all around. Align the seam on part 8 with the black tick mark on part 9 and glue the edges together all around.

5.	Align the seam on part 8 with the seam on part 5 and glue part 7 to part 6.

6.	Cut out parts 10, 11, and 12. Roll part 11 into a shroud and glue together at the tab. Align the seam on part 11 with the black tick mark on part 10 and glue the edges together all around. Align the seam on part 11 with the black tick mark on part 12 and glue the edges together all around.

7.	Align the seam on part 11 with the seam on part 8 and glue part 10 to part 9.

8.	Cut out parts 13 and 14. Roll part 14 into a cone and glue together at the tab. Align the seam on part 14 with the black tick mark on the edge of part 13 and glue the edges together all around.

9.	Align the seam on part 11 with the black tick mark in the white circle on part 13 and glue part 12 to part 13.

10.	Score parts 15 using the red lines as guides. Fold each part 15 double and glue together. Glue parts 15 to the model as indicated in the cartoon; trim as needed for best fit.
