Special Characters

Remember: when browsers see & and <>, they look for code! That means that if you put a greater than or less than sign or an ampersand in front of anything, the browser will assume it is code. It won't show it on the screen and if what is there is not code - it's not going to be nice!

If you find that bits of text are missing, check for missing 'brackets' and quotes, I know from my own experience that that is what has usually happened to them!

If you do want to use ampersands and greater than and less than signs you can, but you have to put them in as special characters. You can find them in the list below!
