PRE-GAME COMMITMENT
Part of my pre-game routine is going over the hitters in my mind. Because I have worked on developing my own pitching philosophy I have a plan going into each game. I go over the opposing hitters and develop a strategy.

Having a pre-game strategy helps take the pressure off and allows me to focus on one hitter at a time and one pitch at a time. Because I never doubt my pitch selection, I direct my focus so that I am totally committed on every pitch throughout the game.

blue comet PERFECT PRACTICE

I take advantage of every practice situation. I use my time wisely to prepare for the next game. I go at practice with the same focus and intensity as if it were a real game. I use this time to mentally prepare so I always set time aside to simulate game pressure situations.

I know that pressure is something that I can control. Pressure for me means opportunity.
